Plague + Ice on a Weapon?

I have a sword with an enchantment of 18% plague dmg and i tried to infuse with ice...it says 12% ice dmg....but now my dmg dropped and there is no ice effect/dmg numbers, just the plague as before :(

I also notice that only one element can be infused into weapon

Do you have your damage numbers showing because I see my plague and fire damage both doing damage together.
