Fix the environment - clipping and ghosting are game breaking
Annoyed and disappointed by the intentional choices to make a single player game have so many pointless behind the scenes demands. Devs choose an online only, no save game, that's their choice. But, they need to be clear about the realities of the game as there are many mechanics that most single player games do not have in place - mostly because no one wants them.

Having no real save option and pointless real time timers are inconveniences compared to the common bug of falling thru the endlessly clipping environment to either fall endless through a black out-of-game space where you have to restart and hopefully return to the games pre-fall auto-save or the game-breaking surviving a fall into a space without an in-game exit. Also, 'Continue - return to last whisper' doesn't work as expected.

The main menu 'continue' option to return to the "last whisper" does not return the player to the last Whisper that the PC physically stands in or selects with "Y", it's a random space just where the game auto decides where it is. This is a game-breaking dev choice when the 'place' determined by the game is someplace with no in-game exit.

This becomes a potential mine-field of game-breaking actions when the PC falls thru the endlessly clipping environment and ghosted spaces are everywhere outsideof Sanctuary. If lucky, the PC falls thru the environment entirely into black space or dies AND with more luck the game sends them someplace pre-fall that actually is intended as in-game space. But, the game does not always send the PC to someplace pre-fall, it arbitrarily sets the last 'Whisper' wherever the quit point is if the PC is alive and trapped in a game spaces that has in-game exit. This is the game-breaking part.

There is no way back from it. No prior saves, no pre-fall Whispers to roll back time.
Nothing. Game over. Start over or quit for good. Bad dev game play choices and bad environmental design together making a game with promise nothing more than the black void money was wasted on if you fall from what is effectively a 3D platformer with a half-hidden world. This is early access - Devs know there are issues, but do not plan for them or even provide in-game bug reporting or feedback. That is bad game design. Lazy game design. Too late for a refund, but not too late to warn others.

lol the game literally saves your realm every 10 minutes, but try again. so unless you're falling through the world and not dying less than every 10 minutes, you'll have to realize "oh, i bought an early access game" and lose that sweet progress to go to your last saved realm.
