Why no three card monte in the whole game?

I just finished the game and was left still waiting for three card monte to come into play.

I'm taught how to perform it at the beginning, and then I never even get to use it? What kind of terrible game introduces game mechanics and then never uses it?

After I finished the game I saw a Let's Play, and somehow I see them going on the street and conning people with three card monte. What gives? Why was I never given any opportunity?

I sincerely don't know either. I think it might have something to do with how well you're performing and whether or not you've unlocked the 'infinite' table at the barn.

It does exist but you have to play poorly in the first chapter before you gain some bank with the caravan. When you loose all your money you end up being forced to do 3 card monte in the street.

EyesBlack84 is correct. If you have zero money and the barn is available, you can use the 3 card monte to win money.

We put it in that scenario because it's both a classic cheater's hustle performed on the streets and because it's not a way to cheat at a gambling table which is where all the other scenes occur.
