PS4 button layout?

I'm playing with a PS4 controller but the game is giving me Xbox button promts which makes things rather confusing. Is there a way to change this?

It might a Steam issue. Have you tried on Big Picture mode? We just did a bit of PS4 controller testing and I'm getting the correct prompts.

I tried Big Picture mode but it's still giving me xbox button prompts when I'm in-game.

Same here. I tried forcing steam to use Playstation layout, but it doesn't work :(

Hi! Sorry you're encountering this. The game defaults to Xbox prompts if it can't detect what controller you are using. Are you on PC or Mac?

We are aware of some issues between PS4 controllers and Steam recently so could you let us know if this is just happening for Card Shark or for other games as well?

I have the same issue, I am on PC. I've tried the PS5 controller too, but the issue remains. On some games I've played on steam it works fine (like persona 4 Golden), but I have had troubles with some other games too.

I'm on PC. I don't have the issue on other games when I use controller. If I check on my steam settings it clearly detects it as a PS4 controller as well. I've tried fiddling with the settings but nothing seem to help.

I found a possible solution for this, if you disable Playstation Configuration Support option in the steam general gamepad settings, it shows the correct icons ingame (tested with Dualsense, don't have a PS4 pad to hand to test)

I tried this out and both PS4 and PS5 controllers work fine, if you do disable the playstation config support! So well done!

Also, I see the devs have used different Icons depending on if it is a PS5 or a PS4 controller, nice detail!

Can you add in settings: select default prompts botton XBOX, PS4 or KEYBOARD

You also have to be in Big Picture mode.
