Clotted Ave - Glowing egg hanging from ceiling?

In Clotted ave while on the way to the feather key there is a room in a spire that you have to burn some boards to enter. Hanging from the ceiling is a body with a glowing egg shaped object in the center.

What is it? Seems important, but I cannot break it, take it, or interact with it.

It is behind the boards at timestamp 46:18 - He skips right past it.

There’s nothing you can do with it until after you beat the game and revisit with a ring or staff upgrade. Save you the trouble it gives you another ring I believe which in a game you finished is worthless
