Black screen with mouse cursor on launch

launched the game standard and DX11 and it does not want to load anything. I get a blank screen and the cursor which I can see moving around. When I alt tab out it will show the screen but nothing happens when I click on things.

You don't get a popup box saying "The Ue4-Praest Game has crashed and will.."? Do you get music playing in the background?

Now that's weird, me and others (check the bugs forum) are having a problem with the game not launching, and the intro/menu music playing on the background with a popup saying just that. Then the game crashes to desktop and screen starts to flicker as if the synching between the monitor and GPU goes hayware. This is remedied with changing the refresh rate of the monitor to something else and then back again.

Mind going to the thread in the bugs forum and posting your system specs and crash log if it says anything useful?

Do you use freesync?

I tried it with and without freesync, as I said in the bug reporting thread.

I am using a 45inch TV as a monitor and have no options to change the resolution I have tried using windowed mode and everything else mentioned is there anything else I can do to get this to work??? Thank you in advance for any help :)

Hello Axiom!

You can try to edit the config files, that you can find here:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Praest\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

GameUserSettings.ini will have all of the graphics options inside. There you can see "ResolutionSizeX=****" and "ResolutionSizeY=****" lines which you can manually change to the desired resolution :)

So any estimate on when the patch will be released? It's been two months and I still haven't been able to launch the game.
