I recently played Hexen and Heretic in VR and it's amazing ^^
Played with QuestZDoom on Oculus Quest:

Feels good to play. As does Quake 1 and 2 and Half Life. Graven would be fantastic too :)
Most developers think like this "first I'll release the current flat/normal game version, and... if enough interest just maybe a VR DLC", but the thing is, they should look at it exactly the other way around!
Everyone knows the competition on Steam is just brutal and it's almost impossible to stand out from the crowd. However, developers can now turn to VR because it's an incredible opportunity to easily(!) reach an audience. I know many VR gamers who are incredibly hungry for more, and who check the game stores (Steam and/or Oculus) multiple times per day :). Even though they know it's of no use because new VR release are scarce. There's so much more demand than what's being offered. Seriously, it's almost impossible NOT to get noticed in the VR game stores!
Creating a VR world means that people will be able to be(!) in the world you created, not just look at your world from behind glass, but literally be present and move/look around in the world that you have created.
I wish game studios didn't look at VR as a burden or an extra layer of work/trouble, but as an opportunity to differentiate themselves from the countless of other 1st person games available on Steam.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Is there any chance to add at least 3D stereo depth support by the engine so it can be played in 3D inside Virtual Reality?
Today we have many tools available like VorpX or HelixVision that allow to play flatscreen games inside VR with real 3D depth:

I can confirm VorpX works with Geometry 3D and it looks and play so nice.
Still Native VR Support could be so much better and the engine seems to be ready clearly.
The thing is that the game is so green yet, but is good to see VR works so far with VorpX and that there is hope if DEVS realize about these requests :)
(btw, GAMEPAD support should be fixed also)
+1 for VR Support
