同样的问题，今天官方更新完，游戏都进不去了，按官方的解决方案，根本解决不了，本来玩的好好的，一更新，不能玩了，还要我们改这改那，问题是没法改，希望官方尽快更新

I had to uninstall. This game is more hassle than fun. Great concept , poor authentication.

Game stuck on loading screen then crashes

It was fun while it lasted, you have a gem of a game here but I had to uninstall.
No way I'm installing another anticheat kernel level crap to play solo on a local server.

Stop it... stop it.... We as players do not need to do more then press play, take that ♥♥♥♥ away... i dont care, i press play and it works.... the rest is what you are paid to do....

Dear Angela Game, so what you're saying is you're dead-set on forcing me to ask steam for a refund? because i'm going to do that before i install your rootkit program. that also means my brother who plays the game will also ask for a refund. and my partner, who had just start playing with me--she's gonna ask for a refund, too. pushing an "anti-cheat" program that looks super shady with zero warning, explanation, or documentation tells me all i need to know about how you're running your game studio.

this update is causing my entire system to hard crash when i launch the game. i click play and then i get a pop up asking me to allow sgaurd sumthin to run and then my pc hard crashes. usually it will restart itself but doesnt. also i have to shut my psu switch off for 20 seconds before i can turn my pc back on. the hell did this update do?

God that sounds like a scam. No way I drop everything that keeps me save for this game. No other game I ever played required something that shady.

Extended Solution:
If you run into the Problem, that you don't have an AntiCheatExpert Service and also the AntiCheatExpert Folder is missing under Program Files. You can solve it like this.

1. Go to your Steam Directory -> steamapps -> common -> Myth of Empires -> MOE -> Binaries -> Win64 and copy the whole "AntiCheatExpert" Directory into Program Files. (don't copy the files located in Win64 Directory - only the AntiCheatExpert Folder)

2. Open the Command Line Prompt (cmd.exe) as Admin and type in the following command and press Enter:

3. You should see a message like: SC CreateService SUCCESSFUL and you can close the cmd after this message. (if there is a different message you might have a typo or you need to check if the Directory is right and maybe use the full path instead of %ProgramFiles%)

4. Now open the Services Window by pressing "WIN + R" and typing "services.msc" and look for the "AntiCheatExpert Service" entry. It should be set to manual.

5. Now start Myth of Empires and the Service should be started automatically by the game. (If you use UAC you might need to accept the Service by pressing YES if a window pops up)

@Shiyoda When the anti cheat software fails at install level and you have to manually copy it in your files with all that tango, this doesn't really make it appear reliable. SMH

Sguard or whatever it's called and High Morale Developments just sounds way too fishy. Took me almost 200 hours to get my base to where it's at, but unfortunately it will decay and get destroyed now because I'm NOT pressing allow on that box until I'm 100% sure it's safe.
