Is this error preventing you from playing the game? I'm told that this error may appear when start a private server on some circumstances, but that it should not prevent playing the game normally (it can be ignored). Let me know if it's actually preventing you from playing on your server.
In theory, you should be able to ignore this error and play on your own server anyway, but if it's actually preventing you from playing on your own server, please fill out a ticket here: https://ordersystem.mythofempires.com/.
When you run the PrivateServerTool did you change the remote management IP 127.0.0.1
Double check there's a file ServerParamConfig_yourserverid.ini in the same folder.
If you successfully run StartPrivateServer.bat , one folder up, a folder called WindowsPrivateServer will be there, browse and check.
Other than that, you have an annoying overzealous anti-virus software blocking stuff. Configure it properly. Or somehow you placed steam inside a protected windows folder somehow...
Windows or Linux?
maybe the save directory too
start server tool save and close it
start server.bat
close it witn ctrl+c to make a clean shutdown
then make ur settings and start again.
i save the game with Rcon because the server dont auto save when u shutdown the server
