Troubling rumors

I have heard the devs are pretty heavily racist against all non-chinese players...

Is there a grain of truth to that?
If yes, then I think I will direct my gaming community elsewhere.

NA/EU says Asia gets favoritism when they don't get their way
Asia says NA/EU gets favoritism when they don't get their way

In reality Asian developers and they do favor the Asian player base. Asian mesher gets reported with proof, suspended few days in game. NA mesher gets reported with proof, perma banned. Asian players invade NA/EU servers and take over everything and it's very infuriating especially because the game stopped selling in NA/EU so we could never bolster our numbers.

I never seen the developers actively be racist though. Favoritism yes but nothing that could stop you from having some fun.

Well, look how they refuse to ban or even enforce their own rules against other Chinese players and clans. They even refuse to acknowledge any issues when they are presented with the evidence.
But honestly, I don't know wth anyone here expected to happen. Everyone on planet Earth, minus the global Communists themselves, knows that China is at odds with the rest of the Western world. They literally still think the Cold War is front and center and still hell-bent on taking over the world (by their very own words).

So yea.......don't know what else you would expect from a Chinese run game that is run by a Chinese company, who answers to the Chinese government.

To be honest I don't know of a developer of PVP games that hasn't been accused of racism towards people living in the same country as the studio's HQ ever. It's almost as if online PVP communities have a tendency towards toxicity and blame-casting.

First time I have heard of it across UO, AO, Rust, Conan Exiles

and not only did I hear this complaint unprompted - it was on multiple occasions from different people.

I often visit Chinese forum and English forum, I found an interesting phenomenon.
Non-chinese players think developers favor Chinese, while Chinese players think developers favor foreigners.It's ridiculous for developers to discriminate against all races at the same time.

It was just that the developers had rarely communicated with the players, and the customer service system was slow to respond, causing unhappiness for everyone.

No matter who complains to the developer, the developer will not deal with it, it is not a racist or communist issue. I am a Chinese gamer and I have reported the cheating clans to the developers numerous times, but the developers have not responded at all.Please don't make gaming a political and racial issue.

I played this game for over 2000 hours and I've been raided multiple times by the chinese zerg. That put aside, all I hear in this post is a few entitled non-chinese players are complaining about a zerg...

No, the devs are not racist, or even playing favorites... It's a game where a bigger zerg dominated us, the smaller zerg. This has been the case ever since Atlas.. They are better organized, grind more, and have numbers. Yeah, I'm sure they exploit the game as well, but I doubt it's any more than us, per capita. So, stop complaining and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and take it for what it is.

when we played back in the day. we caught a bunch of Chinese meshing when trying to raid us. All the admin/gm did was remove there meshed stuff and left. no ban for them etc.

That said. its a new start and new release we shall see how things go this time around.

A Majority US Companies now ban non Americans based on words sadly. Hell amazon games did this recently.


i also find funny this stopping the OP when you can oh idk? make or buy a server or idk soon join the hundreds of dedicated player servers likely on release bypassing the devs or anything related..

although OP did kinda just prove by this post they are indeed Racist LOL this post alone is a sign of it.

There won't be a lot of second chances, I sure do hope they get it right. Because us vets may not give them as many chances as the new folk. We may be easier to lose. However I do agree to give the game an entire fresh start.

New time and new with new people. Here is being hopeful this time around is better. If I see a sea of Chinese clans own all of NA/EU and we can't even take a single node/server again it will be bye bye for me. I will only go so far in my patience these days, I must be getting old.
