Horse Guide Needed

I've played over 1000 hours on the Dunchzhou map and have NEVER tamed a golden horse. Do they exist there? How can I spot them?
What external features indicate that a horse will be golden after taming? For example, what does a short tail on a horse mean, and what does a long, fluffy one signify?
Please provide information on how to identify a golden horse and where to find one? (currently, I'm searching near the volcano)

Do you mean yellow/gold background (80+ average stats) or 'heavenly' ?
Are you on PVE or PVP? Think PVE limits horses for some reason but I've not verified this only 'heard tell'.

Got my first heavenly the other day but it was purple quality. 2/5 stats are yellow though!

Look for solid colors (Purebreads). No spotting.

On the newer map you have celestial horses east and west of the volcano....These are the same models as on the old map in appearance...Often e.g. monochrome completely black or completely white or completely brown...Sometimes they also have wavy long hair or pom-poms on their feet....But they are very rare there....
Where you can find celestial horses quite often is on the two snow islands where the hunters are stationed....But there you have many enemies, many siege engines and you can't build anything on the two islands and that's the difficulty there, but you can find a lot of celestials there.

There is also a rumor going around that the celestials on the new map would be colorful but that is not true....these colorful ones were on the old map as well and they were often blue or very rarely purple horses or values or green....And these horses are very rarely green on the new map and almost always blue or purple ...The stats of the Horses are generally higher then the old map....and the purple ones sometimes have golden values and that's why many believe that on the new map the celestials here would be colorful and especially because you very rarely see real celestials on the volcano....

You can see whether a horse is heavenly, or whether it is blue or purple or green, you can tell by the species...
You can also recognize celestials by whether the reins break, because you can only ride them with the highest reins or as I always do, you can also see it by the food you can throw...real celestials don't eat that...except the green which, as far as I know, you can't produce yourself
