PVE Settings (Solo Mode) My personal experience.
Myth of Empires is a management and survival game focused on the historical context of feudal China, where you will find traditional elements to enjoy an environment full of pleasant details and a lot of realism. In Myth of Empires you will not find fantastic animals, you will not find robots taken from science fiction, no orcs, no dinosaurs and very few fantasy elements. The only fantasy you will find in Myth of Empires has to do with Chinese mythological culture itself, masterfully expressed in armor and objects that you can still find today in the most picturesque corners of today's China.

Many people wonder if Myth of Empires can be played solo. Of course, you can play solo as you would any other survival game like Conan Exiles and ARK Survival. In Myth of Empires you have thousands of options and possibilities to enjoy a complete survival game, with a lot of realism, a better slave system, a better farming system, a better taming system and a huge map to explore, build, fight and lead.

Playing Myth of Empires offers you an eye-pleasing experience, intense boss and dragon battles, an ocean of management options, and hundreds of beautiful art-quality details.

In Myth of Empires, the entire environment that surrounds you is very well cared for, detailed crafting tables, crop fields, stables and corrals for livestock similar to those you could find in medieval times, tents for warriors, very varied, transport cars, a great building system, missions and hundreds of very well expressed elements that offer tons of fun to play with friends and alone.

Myth of Empires has all the options to play PVE in hard mode. You can completely configure the game to progressively open technology that in PVP would be closed due to lack of points. That way you will not be totally limited to specializing and you will be able to develop more professions. Remember that in PVE you will be alone and no one can help you grow. You will have to do everything on your own, but with the help of the workers you can speed up some processes in your adventure.

CONFIGURED THE GAME:

Reasons to start on the difficult level

In Myth of Empires there are three initial difficulty levels.

The Easy and Medium level offers an overall rapid development experience for leveling up, farming, harvesting, taming, recruiting and building. Everything is much faster and you initially get more points to unlock skills and items. However, I do not recommend playing on Easy and Medium mode because a lot of balance adjustments need to be made to the difficulty.

The Hard level is slower, but also offers a more realistic setting with more difficult and challenging enemies. Hard mode settings are better balanced, so you don't need to make many adjustments to create the most realistically challenging environment. You will only have to change the experience, obedience and harvest rates to speed up the development of your adventure. If you leave everything by default on Hard mode, you will feel like you are not progressing at all, you will spend most of the game gathering resources and believe me, that is fine for playing PVP with other people, but it is exhausting if you intend to play alone.

When you enter the game menu, select “Server Settings” and then select the “Server Parameters” tab. Server parameters are where most of the changes to the game mechanics will be made. This is where you will design all your preferences to change the general difficulty of the game to your liking. For example:

-Use Durability

The "Use Durability" option is marked in green. Simply uncheck it and press the “Submit” button to save the changes.

Next, in the "Player Settings" section, you can change any configuration parameters. Examples:

- EXP multiplier obtained by the player
- Skill EXP multiplier

Next, in the "Building Settings" section, you can disable wear and tear on structures and buildings. Example:

- Activate the decay of the building.

Unchecking the "Enable building deterioration" option is a good idea if you don't want to spend hours repairing your damaged base due to the wear and tear of time.

Once the changes have been made in "Server Settings", we return to the Main Menu and select the "Difficulty Settings" option.

Once inside “Difficulty Settings” we remain in the first “Custom” tab and select the “Bioorganism” tab to make the desired changes. Example:

- Obedience multiplier

In this parameter you will change the difficulty of obedience to your liking to recruit your slaves more quickly.

- Number of initial recruitment warriors

This parameter is what allows you to increase the maximum number of warriors and workers you can have.

- Initial number of deployed warriors

This parameter allows you to increase the maximum number of warriors that will follow you and fight alongside you in your raids.

- Initial number of horses

This parameter allows you to increase the maximum number of horses you can have in your stables.

Of course, all these parameters are personal and you can always adjust them according to your own needs. The goal of this setup is to make the solo playing experience follow a similar pace to any other solo game, such as Conan Exiles, ARK Survival...

On the hard level chosen when starting the game, resource extraction is set to 1.0, but you change it to 2.0 and you get double the resources to obtain ore and wood. In 2.0 it's still slow, but nice.

You increase the initial number of warriors to 20. Most of the recruited warriors will be working at the base, but having so many warriors is a challenge because you need a lot of food and paying a good salary to increase their loyalty. If you think it is easy or difficult, you can also increase or reduce food consumption.

To increase the feeling of a pack, I recommend increasing the number of warriors that can initially accompany you from 1 to 6. You will not use all of them in your adventures, but they will serve to defend the base from any assault by enemy factions. However, to make the experience more exciting, I do not recommend increasing that number. Entering a camp is still dangerous for a single player, so it is necessary to increase the number of warriors who will fight with you on your adventures. Many warriors will die, but it doesn't matter, since they are initially low level and not worth rescuing. Don't waste time training low level warriors. Later they will be replaced by better warriors with whom you can invest your efforts to equip and train them. It is better to wait until you find a good warrior of level 40 or higher.

Although I don't recommend it initially, you can also raise the level of damage and resistance of the NPCs, but the elites, bosses and dragons are already a challenge at low levels.

I also recommend increasing the obedience level from 1.0 to 5.0. When you reach 300 recruitment points you let your best warriors recruit for you. This way you can recruit a positive replenishment ratio when your warriors die in battles. If you let your warriors recruit for you, you will have more time to spend on other things.

Raising the obedience level allows you to recruit faster, but you will not increase your dressage level with horses much.

I also recommend disabling the breaking of weapons and armor so as not to waste time repairing.

RECIPE POINTS

IF you are going to play alone, I recommend increasing the recipe points necessary to unlock all the craft banks, objects, weapons, armor and the rest of the objects. Don't worry, even if you allocate 1000 recipe points, you won't be able to unlock anything until you level up, but you'll make sure not to exclude any buildings or items.

I also recommend creating a clan to accumulate activity points and unlock buildings and all clan recipes. This is essential to enjoy the options and advantages that a clan offers. Even though you'll be alone, clan activity points add up quickly on the hard level. Clan activity points are easily obtained by harvesting, mining or fighting. Many people believe that clan options do not work for single player, but that is completely false.

There are things that you cannot have if you play alone, but they are really very few and your development will not be blocked at any time. Of course, the market between players does not work on closed servers, so the market unlocked in the clan building building will not work. However, that is not a problem to enjoy all the options that the game offers.

In general, no role-playing or survival game gives complete freedom to unlock all professions. Progression is slow to specialize in any skill or profession and is completely free in Myth of Empires, but it requires a lot of work. For example, if you use the one-handed sword a lot, your experience in that specialty will increase, but you can use and change weapons when you want to raise your level with the rest of the weapons that the game offers. You can also unlock skill levels by simply purchasing them with copper coins in neutral camps.

In short, Myth of Empires can be customized to your own playing style. You can change any parameter, but before changing anything, at least try the game for a few hours to know for sure what you want, what you need and what you should change.

You leave the rest of the settings by default at the difficult level selected at the start of the game.

To change all these parameters you will have to do it manually in Server Settings and also in Difficulty Settings. If you do not make any changes to Difficulty Settings, the changes made at the server level will not be saved.

In Server Settings just disable durability, so that weapons and armor do not break. When you have many warriors, the wear and tear of weapons and armor can drive you crazy. It is better to disable it when you play alone. Remember that for these changes to be saved, you must subsequently make at least one change in Difficulty Settings in the game menu. Only then will your game settings be saved in Solo Mode.

With 130 hours of play, the overall progression is still slow and perfect for me, but now I feel like I'm entering a really intense phase, as the server also levels up by gradually increasing the difficulty.

If you don't know how to start a PVE game in Solo Mode, follow these steps:

1- Independent/Console
2- Create game
3- Customize your game name, enter your password, select PVE and select Solo Mode
4- Start the game on the "Create" button
5- Customize your avatar
6- Select the general difficulty level to Hard
7- In the server configuration you can change the number of characters to recruit to your liking. If you are going to play alone, you will need a large number of followers to raid cities. Change it from 1.0 to 6.0 or choose your personal option.
- Now you can play freely without anyone bothering you. Your progress will be automatically saved to AppData/Local/MOE. You can also save whenever you want. You have 5 spaces to save.
8- Exit the game whenever you want.
9- To load the game follow steps 1, 2, 4

When you re-enter the game, all settings remain fixed, but each time you re-enter your saved game, you must reselect "Solo Mode" and press the "create" button to load your progress right where you left it. last time.

The great thing about this system is that you can always switch your play style to PVE/PVP whenever you want, invite friends or keep your game completely closed.

Greetings.

Disabling 'Durability' option (as suggested above) will do. It covers all equipment (yours and your warriors')

Solo / Hosted local server dont save settings. So every time you start playing, you have to reconfigure your entire server settings.

Don't worry, all the changes you make to your game will be saved progressively as you progress. But for some reason, not all changes will be saved correctly the first time you tap them.

When your character appears on the map for the first time, the first thing you should do is enter the game menu and open the Server Settings to change only the most important parameters. In the initial stage of your game, you don't need to change everything, because you have no slaves and no level to unlock the advanced crafting tables. In that context, I recommend that you focus your attention only on one or two changes in the parameters of your choice, only until the game manages to recognize these changes and save them permanently.

I remember that when I started the game for the first time I experienced the same problem, but for some unknown reason, all the changes I made in Server Settings and Difficulty Settings end up being saved eventually, perhaps after saving and loading a few times. Once this problem is overcome, all the changes made will remain fixed to your liking without you having to configure them again.

First you change the parameter to your choice, you play with said change activated, you save your game, you exit the game and when you re-enter, you check that your changes made have been saved. If they are not saved, you make the same changes again and most likely, when you re-enter your game they will have been changed to your liking and will remain fixed forever.

When you enter the game Menu, select "Server Settings" and then select the "Server Parameters" tab. Server Parameters is where you are going to make the first changes.

-Use Durability

The "Use Durability" option appears marked in green. Simply uncheck it and press the Submit button to save the changes.

Below, in the "Player Settings" section you can change any configuration parameters. Example:

- Player Obtained EXP Multiplier
- Skill EXP Multiplier

Below, in the "Building Setting" section you can disable building wear and tear. Example

- Activate Building Decay

Unchecking "Activate Building Decay" will allow you to not worry about having to repair your buildings.

You can change the rest of the parameters within the "Server Settings" menu, and the changes you make will be saved progressively as you play, saving and loading your progress a couple of times.

The next step is to enter the Menu and select the "Difficulty Settings" option.

Once inside "Difficulty Settings" we remain in the first "Custom" tab and select the "Bio-organism" tab to make the desired changes.

- Obedience Multiplier

In this parameter you will change the difficulty of obedience to your liking to recruit your slaves more quickly.

- Initial Recruit Warrior Number

This parameter is what allows you to recruit a greater number of warriors in your base.

- Initial Deployed Warrior Number

This parameter allows you to increase the number of recruits who will follow you and fight alongside you on your raids.

- Initial Horse Number

This parameter allows you to increase the number of horses you can have in your stables.

Once you manage to activate or deactivate the configuration parameters to your liking, they will remain as you left them and will not be changed again.

Luckily, my custom game settings and all desired parameters remain successfully saved.

In any case, thanks for the link to the mod. I'll try it to see the result.

Kind regards.

1 - Main Menu

2 - Server Settings

3 - Select the Player tab

4 - Select the box with your IDF number (17 characters) Example:

72466842274652761
User name - Level
Character Name
Clan Name

The box with your IDF number is located on the left of the menu (Below the Player tab). Once your file is selected, it should be marked in orange. That means that now you can add and make changes to all the parameters in the Player tab.

5 - To add experience points you must enter the desired number and click on the "Add Expertise Points" option. You can add the amount of points you need.

You can also unlock all the recipes at:

Skill the mount to be deployed to your...

When you finish adding points, I recommend that you make some changes to Difficulty Settings and save your progress.

A cordial greeting to you.
