Private server

Hi, could someone help me with a little something ? When setting my server i have to make a custom launch lines for the server, but what woud be the lines to tell my server to use the new Dongzhou map ?

-SessionName="xxxx" -ShutDownServiceKey=XXXX -PrivateServerPassword= look like this i tried to add ''Map="XX" but its not working

Start Console button on the bottom left, top option, Select Map.

Maps:
Eastern Mainland = LargeTerrain_Central2_Main
Central Mainland = LargeTerrain_Central_Main

This is what I was able to pull from the server bat file for each map type.

Hi, have a question also, how do keep the Myth of Empires private server up to date... every time there is an update and we update the client the server needs to be updated but it is not working. and we end up having to re install the server from scratch.. this is very upsetting as we want to keep our players and other coming back but all the data and stuff is lost

do we have to keep coping and pasting the 2 files from the Myth of Empires? PrivateServerTool and WindowsPrivateServer? folders to out myth of Empires dedicated private Server folder?
or is there and update we can use?

okay we used steamcmd app_update hope that will work, as it did not work before.

Hi, hope this helps. apologies for the late response:

Right click Powershell, runas admin, cd navigate to the steamcmd folder, granted for good uniformity on my servers I leave it in the root directory of C:\Servers\SteamCMD\ but anyway,
ie: cd c:\servers\steamcmd

Change inputsteamloginhere to your steam login information, and installation location, then run the following string, if your server is installed under C:\servers\moe5

.\steamcmd.exe +force_install_dir "C:\servers\moe5" +login inputsteamloginhere +app_update 1794810 +quit
