Quenching oil

What in the would i made some quenching oil and went to quench my sword and it want the animal fat and vegetable oil i used to make the quenching oil not the quenching? Please fix

Thats how the game works you need it to make the weapon its not a fast paste game it takes time and effort to get there it will get easier better with a guild if your new to the game 2 ppl will be fine it will help out with resources faster

Takes 20 minutes in workbench to craft a whole set of armor but a tiger one shots you despite wearing literal steel armor lol

Yea you got to stay away from those tigers man i dont know how many times i got killed from tigers you better have a horse thats fast then a donkey lol

I messed up I meant what in the world. why have quenching oil when it tells you to use separate ingredients to quench the sword and there the same ingredients as the quenching oil. so why bother having quenching oil?

I have the same issue, I made quenching oil in the furnace, then made some cast iron armour and it doesn't need quenching oil to quench, it needs fat and veg oil.
(The ingredients I just used to make quenching oil)

What is quenching oil for?
