Solo/Hosted Mode Config or Server Settings
I think the answer to this is no or none, but does anyone know if there's a way to save the server parameters/config files from a Solo/Hosted game?

I know that in general you can save the server settings/config while using the PrivateServerTools, but I created a hosted session using the Solo/Hosted option in-game. However, whenever I make a ServerParam change in that hosted session, and even after "Save Game", it never actually saves the changes to the ServerParam, and I would need to re-enter all the ServerParam changes all over again after closing the game and launching it again.

If there is no way to save the ServerParam settings/changes using the Solo/Hosted game mode, is there a way to transfer my existing Solo/Hosted gameworld and character progress to a normal local dedicated server using the PrivateServerTools server setup?

Thanks in advance for those that take the time to respond.

I'm interested as well, it would tremendously improve loading up. I am not aware of this being possible. I think it's "standard settings" vs custom, but I hope I'm wrong.

Right now im not aware of any way to do either, however, hosting your own private server does this and its fairly easy to do. My wife and I have been running our own since we started.

The real annoying part is always figuring out how to get connected to it.
Opening ports to work has always been the toughest part for me. Everytime I think I've done it, it doesn't work! Guess that's hwat I get for using wifi though

You dont need to worry about that with this. Just run the private server tools in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Myth of Empires\PrivateServerTool folder, it has pretty good descriptions of everything. Though remember to uncheck Enable Remote Management in the basic setting section as it will cause the server to loop when you start it up. You also may want to uncheck Enable GM Account as it will make you start the game invincible and possibly invisible. Once you get that set up save it all and run StartPrivateServer.bat. Then just boot the game up as usual, look under custom servers and search for your server name. Its real easy.

THat's what I've actually tried, but when I do it, the connection ends up timing out. Maybe there's some other setting I have to fiddle with.
It has made me tempted to boot up the ol' laptop I have laying around and use it as a server, like I did with Conan Exiles back in the day.

EDIT:
Turns out that 'Enable Remote Management' option is what made me unable to join a server that was myself. Huh.
So now that works.

I'm also interested, as I don't have the possibility of having my own server.
I understand that development started a few years ago, but I don't understand why they didn't think of giving the option of saving settings.
