Hi all, is it possible to take over a mine and make it your own like it is with farms? You go to a farm and rebuild the shed and its effectively yours. I cleared out a copper mine but there doesn't seem to be any building i can repair to make it mine. Thank you!

No. They are just dense areas of resources, NPC controlled. You can make guild mines at the right "collect" points (cart icon).

Ohhhhh that is good to know, thank you! The couple of cart icons ive found so far seem to be farms so i will keep an eye out!

There are no collection points that are farms. There are; Lumber, Granary, Quarry, and Minefield. The farms are fields, and have the crude planter box icon.
