Finding copper ore

Cannot find copper anywhere i have searched for 3 days and still not found a piece, i watched youtube to see what the nodes look like but even then i still cannot find any to make a bench, the nodes need to be easier to see because all nodes look about the same.

The rainforest is FULL of them :)
Look around the big forest lake, expecially were there also some steep little hills around.

My base is around the lake and i dont have to run further then 1 minute to get almost every resource. (wood, stone, copper, clay, boars, deers, foxes, rabbits,wolfs are all around me)

Or some npc mines which u can hunt them down and mine like 500 ores from each.

Go back near the starting area and check near the hills and mountains.

If you are seeing iron or higher then you have ventured too far away from the starting area where they will be much more common.

I think that is a bit "advanced" for someone who started and dont even find regular ores atm ;)

oof. Get a horse and hit the roads. Search the ? until you find either a mine, node or run into them in the wild. If you get legitimately desperate, you could either look up a map or host solo and tele scout one out.

make use of keen sight tea.... you will see them everywhere

I am built at the starter area been across the water search those mountain just found camp sites and stone. Yes @nope i have made that tea. I wonder if there is a problem with my server as i honestly cannot find any, i shall take another look now.

go to a hill/mountain type area with lvl 15-20 monsters and you will find it 100%

i have just been all round the mountain and still no copper anywhere just stone, clay and i am getting,gypsom what ever that is. Do you have to be using a different sort of hammer ?

Like i said, around the big lake in the rainforest :) Little dark Grey/brown crops with orange spots on it, most of the time tucked away under/around the foilage bewteen lake and the hill SLOPES :) And yes with the normal hammer but the bone one or even higher will give more ore per hit.
