Report a translation problem
I have the same problem but it doesnt seem to affect all servers otherwise more ppl would have reported it i guess
On one hand it's good to know it's not a 'Just Me' problem. And this, I think rules out/leans toward it being a specific problem with G-Portal's hosting specifically, which means it's likely to get fixed faster than waiting on a hotfix from the game devs.
Let's hope! If I find out something new I'll come back here.
It should be noted that I switched my server to PvP (just to see what happens) and my full server wipe did not work. I pressed the "Delete all Savegames" button and my characters are still there as are the player characters of my friends. So either the Delete Savegame button is broken or characters and character data is stored client side and that could be out problem.
Perhaps the *server* pulls Guild data from the client and not the server and it is causing the guild to blow up.
Speculating...
Loss of data through G-Portal seems pretty common from a lot of folks who are using them. This isn't something G-Portal can simply fix, it is the entire coding and how the private server back end works.
I was looking into doing my own hosting, but I will not use a 3rd party site for it, as sadly you are very limited with what kind of support you get and what control you have over your server.
The fact that Official Servers don't have this problem proves they are either doing something differently or that 3rd Party Hosting services are doing it wrong for whatever reason. (More specifically G-Portal)
I may just have to request a refund and use another hosting service for now. None of my computers are up to the task of being a server host.
I think I'll give whoever time to fix it- or try to at least. The game is still new-ish.
Any news guys? nobody managed to solve this problem?
I delete the server and start a new server, but same problème
Step 1. Never shutdown the server clicking the X on the console window. Hit Ctrl+C
Step 2. Make sure you have admin rights- use the console before you exit and type in Cheat Save World.
I'm hosting on my own server and never had any issues.
When before i am used CTRL+C it's happened for me too.
After that i am shutting down server only via MCRCON with SaveWorld command and then ShutdownServer
