It's too hot in the norf.

I keep dying from the heat in the north west. does anyone know how to protect from the heat?

The only way I've found is there's an 'ice box' of sort you can put on your horses' wagon same way to put a brazier that makes it warmer, but you need a horse drawn wagon and you need to be within some range of it I'm assuming. If anyone has another way, I'm open to ideas!

How do I fuel the ice machine please?
I only just built it. No recipes there and it doesn't accept carbon based fuels or water.

It needs Ice - which is made with saltpeter and a barrel of water, but the saltpeter is in the desert..soo...I don't know if theres a better way. The one for the wagon to keep the heat away is called the cart mounted ice container

I've searched the desert but I can't find any saltpeter, I only found kaolin clay and brimstone. How do saltpeter nodes look like?

There are a few saltpeter mines in the desert. The one I use is in the far west but it is full of bandits you need to deal with.

opposite issue here - we can only find saltpeter but not kaolin clay..anyone willing to share a spot pls?

Kaolin clay looks like white white rocks scattered around. Its literally everywhere. Once you see it once you'll know! 😊 try around the areas where you see brimstone, tends to be together ish

I just follow the river that goes north into the desert, long as your in the water no heat and you'll slowly recover =P Plenty of Kaolin and Brimstone close to the river(s).
