It would be really nice, yes! But interestingly, you are the first to request this, so I'm not sure if this should be very high priority right now.

I think it can be interesting, but the map sizes would be a real consideration though. And per extension, performance.

In such games, I see the legacy of OpenTTD, and I see that without multiplayer, unfortunately, games must be several orders of magnitude more interesting to be competitive.
