Voice acting really bad
Not to be rude but the voice acting on the main character is really bad one of the worse I've ever heard it really needs changing I've never played a game before and fort wow that's really bad untill I played this would even rather the old gibberish they used to do on N64 games then this voice.

lol

I seem to remember that from the demo.

That is disappointing but won't kill it for me.
Ye it really is, the budget animations I can deal with but the voice acting is a huge let down. I'd much rather have the n64 gibberish too

He sounds like Pauly Shore from that new Pinocchio movie

Polish dubbing is better in my opinion
The voice cast is the same for the English and Polish voices, which is why the English sounds as bad as it does.

Kay-Oh is correct pronunciation, because his name is a pun to "KO!" which is used in boxing when one of the participants lost.

I remember the old beaver in the last game when you meet him he says it differently so saying that game was before this one I would of thought that was the original way to say it and maybe the devs changed the pronunciation or its just how terrible the voice acting is. To change the way a hero's name is said would be like Master chief being changed to Meister Chef

Main character sounds as though he has a stuffy nose.

I could tolerate that if the game actually saved properly

They should have gotten Morgan Freeman or Ron Jermey.

Instant Win.

I had also read a comment on YT saying the same. Still waiting for my PS4 copy, so I haven't spoiled the story for myself more than a cutscene on the demo, but based on that, it does really sound like English is not the actor's first language. I think the actual acting sounds good, the problem seems to be the pronounciation.

If this is really the case, I find it weird. I have never heard heard of another game's voice cast doing multiple languages outside of their own. It's kind of impressive actually, it's just that most people naturally sound off to at least some degree, when speaking a language not native to them.

Well, it's likely that voice actor was saying it wrong in the old game, then. Like that other guy said, it's supposed to sound like KO, seeing how the game is themed around boxing. I remember voice actors pronouncing things wrong in the old Spyro games too. Doesn't mean it's correct just because it happened it something old.

Look up how to pronounce the name Kao and you will find it was never wrong in the original games... now if Kao had a son and named him K.O. then I'd understand but it is true the way his name was said has been changed... again if someone was Chris and people started calling him Kristoff its the same thing
