Company/corporation coop seems underwhelming, to say the least. It's a pity because it's not far off. Hoping they get this fixed up soon.
You can also set options in your company so people that work for you don't need the level that they would usually need to operate larger vehicles. Can be a way to help new players get a jump start.
the benefit of setting a vehicles lower level can be done without a company. (party or open to public)
Company play just doesn't fit with a group at all, and I don't know why a solo would ever join one instead of making their own. You still get contracts, and the 10% per item on said contract.
But seeing how EVERYTHING in this games is backwards and anti logical. I see why they work the way they do.
I also tend to agree—money in corporations is gone and can only be used to repair automated vehicles. EDIT of course the contract things also...
I don’t get why we can’t have a shared budget in corporations, where players in a corporation share that money instead. Any runs done by a player in a corporation should go into that corporation, and corporations should be able to buy their own vehicles with that corporate money. Players should also be able to put their vehicles into the corporation and pull them out based on roles (Manager, etc.).
This way, co-op play is heavily fostered, and players can cooperate to build one large corporation.
NPC drivers are also a thing, and each player adds five AI slots, with an additional five+ buyable slots, just as they would in their own company.
This would be the ideal setup for co-op play, in my opinion.
