Tow trucks
So new to the game, got about 11hrs played. Done a fair bit of towing with the Pulio upgrades with diff locker, suspension and motor upgrades which is ok but sucks that it doesn't have 4wd.

The Brutus wrecker has 4wd but has weird requirements like 100 driving level and only 20 towing levels which I find strange? Would be nice if the level requirements were lower on the driving level. I would be ok with level 30 towing required but a much lower driving level needed.

Yeah, it's a bit out to lunch imho. The engine requirements for the Golina, or what ever it is called, is something silly like trucking level 200 for the top engine.

I have done a couple recoveries of bigger trucks around 10-15T and it's a struggle with the Polio that is too light even with stiffer springs in the back and being only RWD. Hard to progress in the towing when some recoveries take forever and there is no other small recoveries nearby.
You have the option to abandon recoveries so new ones spawn that might be easier for your current truck. Click on one of the tows that are too heavy for your truck and then click abandon and a new tow will be generated.

It's a bit ridiculous yes.

Top gear top tip:

If you just need a few more levels quick-ish, get a car that can go fast BUT also doesn't run out of gas in 2.1 seconds.

Then drive up and down the bridge highway at 200km/h.

Repair and refuel at the speedway when needed.

Driver level increase every 3-5 minutes.

The wiki says you get a level every 10 km driven. This is the best way I could think of to destroy 10 km over and over quick and it seems to work. It's not super fast and it's much more fun to gain levels during regular play. I wouldn't recommend grinding this for hours, but if you need just a few levels to a milestone, this seems to be the way to optimize the grind.

I wouldn't play like this but I just leveled Towing to 50 and I'm just a few driver levels short. I wanna drive that big boi.
