Does AI complete contracts at all?
I play in single player. I signed a contract with GU-JWA Daily Cheese inc. for milk delivery, 5 tons. Did a manual delivery at first and completed the contract. Then signed another contract for 10 tons of milk, but assigned AI driver to the route, hoping it would complete the contract in 2 goes. But it never happened, even though I monitored the AI doing the job and delivering said milk to the factory, with money received and all for delivering milk. AI doing the job never counted towards the contract goal, there was also no contract bonus added for AI deliveries. I did some troubleshooting and here's what I found out: if AI driver picks up the milk from the nearby ranch I assigned it to do, and then delivers it to the Daily Cheese inc., it doesn't count towards the goal. If again AI driver picks up the milk from the ranch according to the trucking route, but then I take over and deliver it manually to the factory, it also doesn't count towards the contract goal!
I was thinking when expanding my company fleet with more trucks, I would be able to complete contracts with AI drivers, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

AI cannot complete contracts right now, I guess because it would be overpowered and requires a balance pass for the payouts before becoming a feature (if it will)

Thanks for the response, unfortunate for me :(
it makes no sense for your hired ai drivers to make 23k for a delivery and you only make 2100. but would make 25k for the same job if i just did it myself. it should be the other way around. or at least 50/50

It would be a more realistic small business experience if you had to pay your driver 26k for a 25k delivery, then have to work extra on the side to make payroll. I don't think we want an overly realistic experience, but most of a small business's revenue does go to pay for the crew.
so the company owner makes -1k per delivery def don't make sense. that's a thousand dollar loss per delivery. a realistic delivery would have the trucking co. making 19,000 for the job and the driver making 5,000 for the job

In the end a lot in this game don't make sense but that is how they want the game.

I'm thankful for wemod which fixes the non-sense, at least most of it is fixed.

I also confronted with this Problem. I thought it is explained somewhere in the Game that you can further increase your Profit with contracts. Strange decision to not include AI in contracts.

Dollars? The Currency is Coins.
Or... Mint-Chocolate medallions wrapped in golden tinfoil. °winks°

1 Flashlight costs 100 Coins,
A set of 9 Candles costs 400 Coins.
1 Medium sized Flatscreen TV-set cposts 2000 Coins,
while the very same with a wallmount costs whopping 500 more.

So i think making a comparison to RL-Currencies to point out discrepancies
in Wages/Costs/Payment is not very useful.
