Is the full game more polished than the demo ?
Hey,

This game appeals to me, but the demo is very very poorly optimised and very unpolished. A lot of clipping, FPS drops, weird visual artefacts (the horizontal line in front of the car), etc.

Should I expect the same from the full version ? Or is the demo very outdated ?

Thanks :)

I haven't touched the demo in almost two years but I haven't had any of those issues in the full game. My pc is below average and outdated but I play this on epic settings and it never goes below 60 fps. No artifacts either. But that's just my experience, games can always be weird from rig to rig with different manufacturers, drivers and so on so I can't say it won't happen for someone else
One thing you have to keep in mind is that the game is still in Early Access. And as above has been said, someone may have an issue with the game, that someone else may not, As unlike consoles, there are many PC specification variations out there.
The demo is the same as the full game. Only the driver level is limited.

Have fun and drive safe.

I should mention that for a cleaner image quality, at least from my experience, set anti aliasing to TSR instead of default TAA or FXAA.

I found that TAA and FXAA are very blurry, while TSR looks much sharper.

The visual artifacts exist because for whatever reason Motor Town renders the game at 50% resolution. You don't really notice it with TAA enabled, but when you are smart and turn TAA off the game looks ABYSMAL. fortunately you can increase the render resolution to 100% in the options menu too. That's really my only complaint about the game. I'm so glad that despite being on Unreal you aren't forced to use TAA, and that disabling TAA doesn't make the game look like absolute turd.

have fun
Yeah I've seen several games that do that over the years and I don't quite get why devs set that as the default, it looks awful. I think Arma 2 was like that
