You would still have the same weight per axle, without shredding your tyres.
However ive only tried the S dollys and im not sure if the D is any better in that regard
The 2S is better with weight than 1S, as 2D is better then 1D
80-100t is fun, with big engine and 13/18spd.
With the Atlas 8x4 and Dumper trailer i always use the S1, for offroad.
D1+2 have shorter drawbar, easy to get trailer stuck beside truck due to corners interfering.
S2 also can get stuck, collision somewhere between trailer landing gear, back dolly axle/bumper. This is really annoying when it happens somewhere offroad where you can barely move. S1 does not get stuck und drives well enough, with some mods.
D2 with longer drawbar would be nice.
