Any idea when this new beta will come to the "main release" as an update?

No idea unfortunately, hopefully not long.

Tried to move my dedi to the test, didn't work.
I'm enjoying the new traffic density settings. The streets are a lot more lively now although depending on what you are doing, it can be a great hindrance especially at intersections with a high or maxed out percentage.

That being said, I found 500% to be the sweet spot if your system can handle it. Its crowded enough that it seems like life is really bustling in the world outside of player interactions. But its not too dense that you can't drive at any reasonable speed or run into walls of cars at every main thoroughfare.

Not sure what you mean, so can't help unfortunately.

Generally after about a week and a half? Could be sooner or later depending on amount of bugfixing required and patch size

Probably ment "dedicated server". I don't know too much about being a server host but I don't think they should upgrade to this test build since it isn't final and might cause problems for clients joining (and disconnecting).

Ahh k thank you for the info, and yes I agree updating a dedicated server to the test version could be fraught with issues.

People have done it. Most of the youtube channels have their dedi's updated to the test version.

Added note, the server had agreed that they wanted to restart the server from scratch, so, switching to the test build early would be ideal.

In that case, it would be best that you did get it running. I have only played SP so far but I can see elements of the new update (mainly the traffic density) can potentially effect a server's performance. Hopefully you'll have time to test it without too much down time.

My game ended up being a cross between Taxi Life and NFS: Rivals since all I did was drove people while dodging 20 AI cops in heavy traffic with a highly customized Hyundai N-Vision (Zyro).
