Bus to GwangJin
Anyone had success going to this bus stop? I tried putting off road tires on a townie and I keep getting stuck in the mud. Is there an AWD vehicle that can get a bus license?

Just a follow up; The townie will make it with upgrades, I would guess the bare minimum is off road tires, 240hp engine, and a locked diff. (A winch can save your screw ups) It was a fun challenge, it wasn't about the money, but the $74k was a nice ending.

Have you tested if the Bongo is any better at off-roading than the Townie? I've been wondering about this route as well
i just did and it's pointless. none of the passengers at the stop entered my townie... you're constantly fighting the stupid mud mechanics, and don't even get me started on when the townie steps on "grass". It's like the tires get glued and you just stop and the engine cant even rev! you cant even go full red rev in the grass and its made on purpose so that you stay on the stupid mud roads and wait for rain to stop and all that nonsense...
Honestly, I uninstalled because i'm done with this "Squid Game"

functionally they are the same, so yes. You can get same parts for both.
@BattlePants I understand the frustration, took me 5x to figure it out. You can check your bus route first and check to make sure people are waiting at the stop. Even if people are standing at bus stop doesn't mean you will get passengers. Only reason I went down this mudhole is I noticed 8 waiting at GwangJin stop, full load for a townie!

Lol yes. Because people are waiting at bus stop they all want to go at the same place... The same is for all bus stop not because there's people that they will enter. Unless your bus line pass to the bus stop they want to be drop. None will enter.

Squid game because 0.1% of the map as mud sure...

Theres enough thing to do to avoid allcontact with mud. But really seem like you are salty for mud.
I play on a dedicated server my friend runs. Typically there are three of us on, and one of them decided to try the route with an actual bus. I followed them in my Brutus Wrecker expecting them to need me, but to my surprise they actually made it all the way there on their own.
It was a Dumbi. I am not 100%, but I believe all he did to it was raise the suspension and lock the diffs. Oh, and widen the tires, which he regretted going as wide because with +100mm offset, the bus was almost wider than the bridges.
EDIT:
Got confirmation from him, he put the biggest engine on it, stiffened all the springs to 200% with max dampers as well.

sounds fun, I was wondering if a bigger bus would work. I might try a Liliput bus. Gapa doesn't have the passengers atm to go big, maybe on a high pop server.
