Yeah I did try that with no luck.
This seems to be a Logitech software issue. I was originally using Logitech Gaming Software (older version) and my wheel was being detected but FFB did not work and it kept springing back to center. Then I updated to G Hub(newer) and my wheel stopped working on all my other sims as well with the same symptom (detected but no FFB). I then reverted back to the old logitech software and now everything works (for now.) *shrugs*
Hopefully this wont be the case for me too. I have yet to play again since I "fixed" it. I did find this interesting post on reddit about getting G-Hub to properly install drivers. It turns out G Hub has been broken for a couple of years now:

Maybe that will help you? I will try G Hub again but with this solution if I encounter issues the next time I try to play.
Because after my (old) PC died (as in, it went completely non-functional) on X-mas (yeah, nice X-Mas gift huh?), and was lucky enough to get a new one in only 5 days (chip shortage and all); I had to re-download the newest version of GHub, and it only had that problem once.
The only thing I could really think it might be, is some kind of software confliction with the new version of GHub. Something else might be interfering with the newer version when you try to install it.
So i switched from the good old "Logitech Game Software" to "Logitech G Hub".
Yeah i had ffb and my wheel worked great on Motor Town, buuuuuuuuuut the "G Hub" software made problem at my other games since i changed the Logitech software.
Today, yes, now, few minutes ago i deinstalled "Logitech G Hub" because during other games like Wreckfest, the software changed from 360 degrees back to 900 during my race. This repeated itself again and again and i said, no more time. So deinstalled "G Hub" after that my older "Logitech Gaming Software" recognized my Wheel again (meanwhile G Hub ist installed, only the new software find it) and tried MOTOR TOWN again.
What happens now? IT WORKS FINE.
I only have one question, did the Dev updated it or was anything changed by installing the new software to let work the game after deinstalling G-HUB and change to the older software?
I know its more text than necessary, but after that surprise i wanted to let you know.
Maybe someone have the same issue with G-Hub and want to go back to the older Logitech Software.
The exact thing happened to me. I wrote about it in this thread. From LGS to Ghub back to LGS and everything works now and it's been fine ever since. My bet is wonky Logitech software/drivers. It is super strange though.
