yeah I can relate.. you can clearly determine where the developers live with those town names. and to a western person, it comes off as gibberish.
More like you're too lazy and/or bigoted to want to bother with other languages. It's not that hard to learn a few town names that are written using English letters.
For some, I guess it is..
You see english letters. I see something I can barely pronounce in such a way I will remember. It all sounds like Charley Browns teacher.
of the capital cities of all the countries world wide when you
were in school. Or didn't you learn them and are one of the
guys who were sleeping more then learning something?
It's effectively a cartoony and less densely populated recreation of Jeju Island off the end of South Korea.
You can look at the place on Google maps and see all the towns there have real world counterparts. Even 1100 Highland Area is a real location.
Raceway and southern islands are pure fiction though.
the names. Besides of that, there's a forum section for suggestions.
You can find and use it there ...

Keep in mind that the developer of Motor Town is more focused on
Discord than the steam forums. If you really want to get noticed you
should think about joining the Discord server and add a suggestion
about an option to change the names there.
The link to the Motor Town Discord server can be found there ...

Good luck and drive safe.
Here we go again pushing Discord in every single forum discussion..
And yes.. he did ask if the city names could be changed.. and he didn't even center the ask on the Devs.. but rather community wide.
You need not be so obtuse in every thread. If you like Discord.. then go there and let those that prefer Steam communicate.
Because rather than offer any useful reply to the OP.. all you have done is attack the OP and once again pushed your Discord crusade...
Give it a rest..
well. My excuses about that.
As for the Discord ...
It's the medium where 90 percent of the game related discussions,
help, guides and more are happening. If it's not your thing, that's
alright for me but, I won't stand your toxicity about it. I'm here to
help and that's what I'm doing when I refer to the Discord server
or to any other source (motortown.info e.g.) where players can
get informations about the game!
Deal with it.
Have fun and drive safe.
Again obtuse.
It's a pinned discussion on the forum at the top of the page. You don't need to spam each thread with this bizarre discord crusade.

And if you really wanted to help. You would answer the OP with relevant information. Like whether or not the names of the towns can be changed.
What is toxic is your correspondence, lack of assistance on the subject matter followed by a spam script about Discord.
Case in point.
Toxic much?
