Golima Semi is not very good...
Especially considering it's the most expensive truck atm...

Comparing it to the stock trucks it's ok... it has 10 extra liters of fuel (510 vs 500 on the FL1 and Titan) and 2 inventory slots. It's also a Sleeper (same as FL1).

However FL1 and Titan have 2 utility slots (and the Golima doesn't have any), which means if I need the inventory, I can install an utility box and an extra fuel tank, putting them at 600L + 2 inventory slots, or if I just need more fuel, I can install 2 extra tanks to get them to 700L...

Imo, if the Golima won't have any utility slots, it should have at the very least a 600L tank. Maybe even 650L to make the 300K a worthy upgrade over the FL1 (which btw only costs 160k).

I agree with you, even though I use the 389 (what the truck is IRL), it does take time to cope with the fuel situation, but I mostly use it on long hauls, which allow me to get a little bit more mileage out of it, but unless they increase the default 510L tanks to at least 600-650L default then yeah, it would be worth it.

I have to agree... i do still use it (mainly cause it looks cooler) but i find the steering is lazier than the FL1 which compounds the lack of maneuverability due to the longer wheelbase, but hey, trucking isn't always about practicality hehe

The turning problems, and the lack of spawnpoint (there was supposed to be one?) steered me towards of selling the truck. Autopilot went crazy when the semi didn't turn in the crossroads like Kuda did...

Not sure what "spawn point" you're referring to, but the turning can easily be remedied by installing a +5 angle kit.

Angle kits are used to make the wheels be able to turn more. They are usually used in drift cars.
In the game you can install e +5 or a +10 angle kit in most (all?) cars.

Yup exactly as Chirus said here. Just wanted to add some additional info, the +5 or +10 refers to the amount of additional degrees the tires will turn after the part is installed.

I might have misunderstood this patch note:
"Another long nose semi with sleeping cabin is added to Heavy duty shop"

But the fact that you have 40 tons of oil in trailer, and are equipped with +10 turning kit, and the semi still goes forward instead of turning in 90 degree turn.

Do you have the locked diff installed?
I only had that problem with it. The other diffs also make turning worse a bit.
The best turning ratio is with the open diff.

Nope, 1.5 way diffs in mine

1.5 diff affects turning as well. It's not as bad as locked diff, and you can usually turn as you would with an open diff, but if you go to an area where you can easily mark where you are turning (and you have the tanker full) you'll notice that the front can slip some times (I did notice this on the FL1, the golima might not have it with the longer wheelbase, but still...)

How soft is the front end? are the wheels lifting off the ground? How much Throttle is applied when understeer occurs?

I use open diff so I don't really have this issue...
But when I was testing, I kept everything else as I was using on my truck. +5 height to the suspension all around, 300% stiffness/dampening and 200% anti-roll. And it would happen when accelerating.

The problem with open diffs is I would often find myself stuck or not accelerating as I want through a turn because one wheel on an axle would lift and start spinning freely, so I decided to go with the 1.5 way. Doesn't really affect handling too much for me.
