the brakes?
The brakes on the first 42k box truck, why just why are they this bad, every time you brake they heat over 1,5k. and there no way to keep them cool

anything you try it smokes the brakes, even the ai smokes them, either its a bug or just something they over looked

something is def up with your end, ive never smoked those brakes
Sounds like the same problem as in real life.

There are good drivers and there are the br(e)akers that break the brakes. ^^

Use manual gearing and/or the jake-brake to help slow down and take some load off the brakes.

Yeah the brakes quickly cook, and it is always the front ones.
A better fix for now is to just use the Jake and quick pulls of the parking brake to slow down, burns a bit of rubber, but as a bonus you get the brake temp spread across all axles of your truck and trailer if you are pulling that, giving you a better long term braking.
A quick rip of the parking brake is all that is required to shave off 20 Kph.
