FL1 vs Titan
I finally saved up enough money to buy a large truck, and was wondering which of these was more worth the investment. Seems the FL1 comes with a sleeper cabin, and is even 20k cheaper. They both have the same engine and trans, and seem to drive the same from what I could tell by renting them. So why is the Titan more expensive? Does it have better tuning parts available or something?

FL1 vs Titan

For me the Titan is the better choice because of the bad cabin the FL1 is comming with which, in my opinion, should be reworked. The arbors are way too fat and the windows are too small. The FL1 comes with the smaller turning circle but, this can be fixed by adding the steering kit (+10) for the Titan.

The sleeper may speak for the FL1 but, it's personal preference and I dont use it.

North Eastern part of the map there is a "Car Dealer" that has trucks... Should have been branded "Truck Dealer" though... Big lot, can't miss it even if you try.

Thanks to your post, I took a much closer look at the FL1 cosmetically. First, I noticed that the side view mirrors appear to float off of the mounting brackets. Then I started noticing the wheels while driving with heavier loads. The wheel covers actually clip down into the wheels! This got me thinking that there may actually be some suspension differences between the FL1 and the Titan.

Sure enough, the Titan seems to come equipped by default with much heavier duty suspension. The wheels are also slightly bigger. Since I don't plan to use the sleeper function of the FL1, and I would have to spend over 20k in suspension parts to make the FL1 handle the same with heavier loads, I decided that the Titan was the better choice for me.
I've tuned my Titan specifically for heavy loads (20t containers and logs) and for the muddy ways to where the logs get loaded and to get out of there without any problems.
The same tuning on the FL1 feels less powerfull and kind of sluggish.

(came here from another discussion)
I´m using a locked diff for my Titan (bought it yesterday), and isnt this better for offroad? or am i missing something? I dont really know that much about tuning in the game, so sorry If I´m completely wrong here
Check the description for the diffs in the tuning garage. It tells you for what kind of use they are made for. The locked one is (if i remember it right) for sport and street only but as said, please check it in the tuning discription.

It says its for drifting, which makes sense, but i feel like it should say that its good for offroaders too, at least a diff lock is good irl or othergames. All wheels always spinning is useful for mud, take snowrunner as an example, which is why i took it here too. but i guess in the end its up to the player, I´d recomment the locked diff for offroading. Anyways, thanks for answering!
But isnt drifting a job for hand break gurus which means blocked wheels? ;-)

did the ride height and have trouble backing into trailers, what did i do wrong?
I havent played the game for some weeks and cannot answer your
question quite yet. Maybe one of the latest changes to the game
is the reason or the height is too much. Did you try to lower the
height...?
