future modding support?
Hey, i just bought this game and am already a huge fan. i love it so much already, tuning and customisation. its so cool already. driving is smooth and fun. i just love it

but starting off with camaro, i checked in garage for fun and there was no aero mods yet.
i know its just released in early access.
but it get me thinking anyways.
i sometimes mod beamng, seeing the low res models for this game, it would be a piece of cake for me to model body kits for the camaro or other vehicles.

i know this game just released, but in the future, i see a lot of potential with this game, if workshop support were to be added.
letting users get custom body kits or vehicles or etc.

altho, this game seems like it wants to add a lot of mp features, it would be tricky to stop cheating.

im wondering.
what is planned for the future of this game?

Game has only been a short time buddy and the dev is flooded with ideas through discord.

i am sure once they get a road map put together you will know about their plans.
but at this stage i think they are just trying to get the common bugs sorted.

till then i encourage you join sum people playing there are sum great people too play with.
its been 2 years there's mods on the nexus but how moddable is this game
Actualy the game isnt moddable. If you want to know more about planed
and upcomming features for the game, check the Motor Town's page on
Trello which you can get to by using the following link.

Have fun and drive safe.

The FAQ mentions this:

**Will there be Steam Mod/Workshop support?**
Yes, it is planned but for now the dev is focused on fixing bugs and adding more content to the game, so be patient, please.

not moddable... lol it's made in unreal
Mods are, under normal circumstances, user content. Everything else
is code which is implemented or added to the core code, so to speak.

All games are moddable, easily so if they're based on common game engines that people already know how to mess around with. If this one actually *supports* modding in the long term it'll be an operating system of a game that can spawn whole new genres. Having the core game built around an economic simulation is an incredibly strong start.

the one thing you can do in the garage is look at other folks custom paint/parts jobs under the workshop tab... you can scroll along a bunch of player customized cars and pick one you like. you can also see the list of mods and turn off any you dont want
