Where do i go after defeating the Gelrod the Veteran? I have been wandering around the map and didnt find anything, help please

from memory, at that point you can go multiple paths. I suggest going underground maybe? As that's where I went when I played I think. But it has been a few years since I did a proper playthrough so I don't remember and I don't want to spoil things for you.
