Map room colors confusing?
Okay I don't know if it's my OCD striking but the way the cleared rooms are a bright, for attention calling yellow and the rooms with stuff to find are a calm light blue bugs me SO MUCH! Am I the only one? Is there a way to invert it? Can we start a petition?

I thought the same thing at first. In general I don't particularly like the map design but I don't think it is petition worthy.

My problem is more the map could use a bit more stuckture. At least the names of the areas would help. In such a beautiful game the map looks quite generic imo.

Unless something has changed since you posted this and I started playing a couple days ago... I hate to tell you this OP but it sounds like you are color blind.

Cleared map sections aren't bright and they certainly aren't yellow. They are a darkish orange... Which if you are red/green deficient.. probably looks yellow? :/

Either that or your monitor color settings need some major adjustments. However, I will agree it is usually the other way around. Calm colors for cleared(All good!), more cautionary colors for uncleared(Not good!).

I don't like the way the map is represented in this game at all. It feels like it's not actually showing what I'm experiencing

How do you know the name of an area? How can you tell which area you are in? Can't find it anywhere...

I agree. Blue feels like a weird color choice for "unfinished". I probably would have made completed rooms light grey and used a color to highlight rooms that still need attention. Or even reversing the current color scheme is more intuitive to me.

I guess it's a "weird color" but I got used to it after like five minutes. Really not worthy of a whole thread about it.
