Why is there a 999 limit for the furious blight.

Seriously. why.
What point is there to that. Especially when the stagnant blight goes over it. Sorry for the rant that's incoming but i cant help it

I've been getting closer and closer to 100% the game and didn't really bother with upgrading the weapons constantly cuz with a few exceptions the upgrades were always really minor.

Now cut to me getting one of the last items in the game, now able to explore like every last nook and cranny of the game and finding 3 of those huge 800 furious blight things in about an hour

I go to a save point thinking I'll have 2400+ F. Blight only to find out I barely have over a third of that.

Why? Why do you add that to the game? There is literally no good reason to add a max limit like that in the first place what point is there to it.
This isn't like other games where currency can cheapen the game by letting you buy a 1000 health items unless there were a max limit. Its currency to upgrade already owned items????? Why do you add a max limit to it???? What??????????????
The game doesn't even have a "Are you sure you wanna collect these 800 blights? You won't get all of them since it'll go over 999!" it just lets you grab it making you think nothing's wrong oh my god.

It just feels like an unbelievably stupid design decision in a game that's genuinely fantastic. It felt like a slap to the face thinking I'd be able to upgrade all the weapons only having to grind a bit towards the end but NOPE. not anymore i guess. Now my only choice is grinding for who knows how long just so I can upgrade a few weapons! Yay! I'm so glad!

What do you mean? I have 1100+ furious blight on my savefile. There is no 999 limit for both the blights.

By this point i got over this, but I definitely remember getting two of those furious blight things with like 800 each and when i checked i only had 999 for some reason, so i dont even know lol
