Question about skill/ability and relic descriptions.

There abilities and relic in question are:
"Swim"
"Witch's Bubble"
"Heretic's Mask"

All three of these have something to do with water, both "swim" and "witch's bubble" specifically state that they are used with blighted water. Swim says "you can paddle on the surface but cannot dive in blighted water" i think, which is true, but you can't dive in normal water either, which is misleading. Witch's bubble says you can now dive in blighted water, which while true, will likely result in your death and is once again, misleading, but at this point you just assume "blighted water" just means "water" but the red kind hurts you. Think again! Heretic's mask comes around saying "greatly reduces damage sustained while in blighted fog and while in or on water." Being the only thing i've picked up thus far that didn't specify "Blighted Water" i get a little confused. The wording on the heretic's mask is just... off... it states it reduces damage sustained (another word for taken) while in blighted fog and water, which it does not do... It reduces damage taken BY the blighted fog and water, but not damage sustained while in it... It doesn't affect my gameplay at all and i really did understand it fully, after jumping to my death into some blighted water twice (once for swim and once for witch's bubble), but i'm still confused why they're worded the way they are.

I think it's a translation problem to a certain extent, in the swimming ability in Spanish it says that "PUEDE NADAR EN LA SUPERFICIE DEL AGUA, PERO NO SUMERGIRSE EN AGUAS IMPURAS" that means that you can swim on the surface but you can't dive in blighted waters , while in the bubble it says "PUEDES SUMERGIRTE BAJO EL AGUA" that means that it can be submerged in water but it does not comment on blighted water and in the case of the mask it says "REDUCE BASTANTE EL DAÑO SUFRIDO EN LA NIEBLA Y LAS AGUAS IMPURAS" that is which greatly reduces the damage taken by mist and blighted water
