It is a fantastic game. I look forward to seeing more content from the Devs.
I have played many meteriodvania games and Elder LIlies stands out from the pack due to the fine tuned combat, extraordinary music score, graphics and animation. I really love the level art and backgrounds. I like how there are multiple layers in the backgrounds, it makes the game world feel more alive with a depth most others fail to achieve.

bought the game today i have to say i am speechless such beautiful game! would love to have voice acting that would give it 100 times more inmersion but still i loved this game as i loved ori games

I'm almost finished with my first playthrough... all that's left is the third alternate ending. I've enjoyed every minute of this game, and it's one of the very rare games that I'd actually purchase DLC for. Looking forward to more content!

I would pay for a dlc or a sequel or even a prequel (as hard as that may be to pull off) in a heartbeat for this game. Although for a dlc what could even be done, an ending D with even more bosses that's harder to pull off? Could be a cool idea, and for a sequel, well Lands End was one of like what......6 kingdoms established over lands that they stole from the Ancients? Tons of sequel potential opened up via that one note entry right there, I love it when games set themselves up for potential for more, I just hope Lily can stay as protagonist due to how great she is, would never want to fight her in a sequel like some games do unless its not to the death and nothing bad happens to her.

same idea here, would like to see at least 3 dlc:
- dlc 1: a post epilogue \ grown up lily episode to fight 1 or 2 bosses (in sort of a lost chapter style)
- dlc 2: play as fretia to experience through the blight war up until how she became the blight lord herself (although this might be better off as a separate game)
- dlc 3: a time travel mechanic that grown up lily goes back in time to prevent either the ancient war or prevent fretia from becoming the blight lord

I liked it as well and just wished the plot was better tied. I absolutely would buy a dlc that made it crystal clear and not just assumption and guessing… u_u

I finished it yesterday and vote for a Fretia’s dlc or a prequel with her as protagonist… =)
Since she has noted, “a lilie alone wouldn’t be strong enough” it would be amazing “seeing how strong” she was at maximum, how strong was the bright lord she defeated…

I think that even a dlc with the same map with a small background changes and Fretia as a protagonist filling all plot gaps would be enough for me to spend money and time on it… u_u

It is even worth a second run, I loved it… Good job…

Well said. I second everything you said... except that it's worth a second run. I don't see any replay value, personally.

If I had to spitball an idea for a sequel, it would be something related to the afterlife. Instead of playing as the living Lily, you play as one of her sisters and purify blighted souls or something. I mean, the series is called "Ender Lilies" with an "s". It would be a bit off-key if they only focused on the sole survivor Lily for the rest of the series, you know? Just an idea.

About that, it's just personal taste. You see there is no point at all on playing Mega Man X and still I play it. I guess that it is because I'm kinda old... =)

As an example, I loved Ori 1 e 2 and Hollow Knight (and see that this game was heavily inspired on the later), but those don’t deserve a second run for me and it’s because time… It’s good to have a ng+ mode where you don’t need to do all the grind over again and on this game the ng+ begin is as hard as end game is but less than it’s on first playthrough…

Another point I like is the fact that they didn’t hide the achievements on something so silly such as “finish the game without dying”. I’m not that skillful and don’t have the time to develop the ability, in my option this is a lazy way to extend game’s life, again (Hollow Knight and Ori’s games). As a con, I’d cite The Messenger, Bloodstained Series, The Vagrant’s Story games which you can get 100% with some efforts, which aren’t necessarily easy but is fair. I’d even highlight Brodstained RoTN, that I played many times for no reason, just because it’s fun… =)

I more from prequals. Think about playing as the King’s of The First Age against the ancients that would be an interesting plot. I guess they should establish the bases better before expanding it.

About Lily, I thing she suffered a lot for a game I’d like to see she making some friends (the plot make me assume that she doesn’t have the company of the Umbral Knight anymore, since he could not leave the land and the game make us think that she leaves End’s Land behind on ending C). Maybe a lover who knows. The other priestess, aside Fretia, had one assuming they had children on natural way. She is frail and without the Umbral Knight defenseless even with the ability of purification, it would be good to see someone that is living doing for her what she did for the land… =)
