Controller in menu soes not really work

With either stick or D-pad I can't navigate the menu or options because of INSANE sensitivity. Any touch of the buttons slides through half of the options.
So you have to use mouse there.

Thats really weird, I haven't seen anyone else with that problem
What controller are you using?

I use a controller and it works flawlessly. (Both in EA and now in 1.0)

Xbox one.
I sort of alt+tabbed several times and it came to normal, so problem kinda solved

I'm glad that it fixed itself, I have no clue what might have caused the issue though

Quick update that after restart the game, the issue is no more.

I also encounter this problem and I have to use the keyboard for selection.
Is there anyone else encounter this problem?

same here. Controller doesn't register for me in this game, but does in other games. I am trying to start a new game but it wants me to use the keyboard.

I'm using a PS4 controller.

Edit: controller doesn't work in game either.
