PS4 button prompts?

Pretty much title does it let you Switch between Xbox and PS4 button prompts in the options or can it detect the PS4 controller natively and switch the button prompts? im one of those people who always take a second to remember what button is which when it pops up on screen and that can mean life or death in souls-like and usually have a hard time getting used to remembering which button is which

it does detect its a DS4 and changes button prompts but you got to have the Steam Support on for it to detect the DS4 and does the same for DualSense ( PS5 controller)

Detects natively. I can't speak for Switch input as I don't have that controller, but it has DS4 and Xinput prompts.

Decided to pick it up and try so it does not support it if you have the PS4/PS5 Contruller support Turned off it has to be turned on in the steam options and it should show the right buttons but you need to have the controllers plugged in before launching the game. tried Switching from the PS5 to PS4 controller and it just defaulted to Xbox Buttons but a restart of the game worked

go to Setting on Steam (top left click steam then settings) Click the Controller tab on the left then the first button at the top "General controller settings" make sure the Playstation one is clicked in then it should work by itself and you just switch the button prompts in the game if i recall xD to make sure its on for the game you can also right click the game->Controller and it should say if the Playstation thing is on ( and a easy way to disable it if a game in the future have native support)

thanks for the tips, but i had alreast tried, and retried again now...but nothing...still Xbox prmpts. I've the ps4 configuration checked on big picture, on the "controller options" of the game i've "global settings(PS)" , in the "controller" tab of the game i've the playstation thins with a blue dot. I really dont know what i do wrong ehehe...

i cant fully remember x.x there's no option in the game options to switch the button prompts ? sometimes that option just says "Button icons"

just tried myself and both my PS4 controller and PS5 controllers work fine tho i needed to have them plugged in when starting the game up and i have the PS support turned on on Steam

nope man dont know what to say...even with the cable.. configuration for ps checked....nothing still xbox ...nothing bad but its kinda annoying

yea i got no idea :( very weird it does not work for you. are you using like DS4windows program? if so turn it off

no no i have it but its not running, i know that can cause problem! any it's a good game so ill make it work as it is. btw "PS support" you mean to check the box in the general settings of the controller on Steam right?

Yup
