Level 100 achievement...why?

I find a reason for all the other achievements, but why the level 100 achievement? I've beaten the game, 100% item, spirit, and map completion at level 83...every other achievement is done. Why am I being forced to level to 100 to get the last achievement?

Because after you do that you realize that this game is made so if you have difficulty doing something you can grind xp and level up. The difference doing the final boss at lvl 80 and lvl 100 is enormous.

I disagree. The right spirits and completion of puzzles to upgrade select spirits make the last boss a joke. Character level means very little.

It's in the name: ACHIEVEMENT.
You ACHIEVED the highest level in the game.

Achievements aren't meant to be something that everybody randomly gets, and they're definitely not meant to be something you get without putting in any effort.

it wont take you less than 30 min, the fishes that are on the road to the last boss give so much exp and are very easy to kill, it took me like 15 min to go from 93 to 100 after I beat the game, easiest achievement in the game.

Who force you to do this lol? It doesn't prevent you from beating the game.

You/me - we wasted time getting it. All this shows is we literally wasted time. There is no challenge involved at all.

You, like me, hopefully did something else like watch a movie or Twitch to get this. It is literally the stupidest achievement.

Nobody forced me. The game itself wasn't that hard. I'm just wondering why this is an "achievement." Very little is achieved beyond wasting time and using relics that otherwise wouldn't be used at all because they are completely unneeded.

Having the patience to go through with it is an achievement in and of itself.

Its for something for you to do. If it didn't we'd probably have someone complaining there is no achievement for it.

With both EXP relics equipped I was able to achieve level 100 organically through all my playtime combined. I ended up being halfway through level 97 after completing every single other thing in-game before getting Ending C and managed to get level 100 on my way back to the boss room.

It's perfectly doable in a Completionist run without extraneous effort on the player's part. Actually one of the more intuitive ones I've come across. If you want an example of a REAL level grind achievement, consider Final Fantasy III's "Reach Level 99 with All Jobs with All Characters." Hoo Boy that's rough.

It's an achievement. There is no need for the thing to have any meaning besides satisfy a condition in the game source code: If HP > 10000, If playtime>1000 hours, If level = 99...

Huh. I hit level 100 a good couple hours before finishing the game. Then again, I was using exp boosting relics from the moment I got them.
