About the endings. (Spoiler Warning)
This game has 3 endings:

A. Ending where Lily leaves but EVERYONE else is doomed.
B. Lily stays with the priestess for all eternity, sharing her pain (which must be a lot considering all the reading material)
C. Lily manages to purify the white priestess but is still corrupted herself? What happens to the knight? Does he just leave?

Now, can someone also explain to me what happens in these. I just want to make sure whether I am wrong or not. I have gotten every achievement in the game and I have read every note in the game (nice stuff) but I want to clarify the endings for myself.

Ending A: I consider this a neutral end. Lily is able to leave and go to the other nations beyond Land's End, which as far as we know from lore snippets were spared from the blight because Land's End took the brunt of it all. Of course it also pretty much implies that eventually Lily or maybe her descendants will be forced to come back to Land's End to complete the task she started.

Ending B: You pretty much got this one right. This I consider the Bad End since this is truly the everyone, including Lily is doomed to eternal torment end.

Ending C: Lily manages to purify the white priestess of the fount, and thus truly destroy the blighted lord which Fretia was not able to do. The blighted rain stops and all the blighted should have basically been purified since it was just Fretia / the rain keeping it all going. Umbral Knight in the ending says he'll stay with Lily forever. Also the ending text for Ending C implies that Lily said her first words there.

OH SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS TO HIM! Good, I thought it was a bit of a loose end there because they don't show what happens to him but I guess it mirrors the beginning of the game with him looking over Lily's body.

Ending A is the very bad but not totally bleak ending: Lily escapes the kingdom but everything else stays the same. Why bad? Because we know from ending B (as if looking around didn't already make it obvious) that the WP of the Fount is unable to control the spread of the Blight. Meaning it WILL spread past Land's Edge, most likely (and, well, everyone in Land's edge is still living on as blighted husks). Why not totally bleak? Lily still has the chance to come back in the future and try to discover the truth of what happened and fix it.

Ending B is the bleak but not totally bad ending. Bleak because well, pretty obvious, everyone in the kingdom is doomed to suffer. Why not tototally bad? Because as remote as is,there is a chance that Lily and her mother togheter will be able to contain the spread of the blight, saving the other kingdoms at least.

Ending C is the good one. With the Blight Lord purified everyone corrupted by blight should finally able to die and find peace.
It's also the only real ending where the Umbral Knight fate doesn't suck. In both A and B he's basically doomed to stand by the Blight Lord ( forever in B, untill Lily eventually comes back in A ) since he can't die as long as both Lily and/or the White Pristess does not
