If you've played less than 2 hrs you could get a refund. Don't know how that will work in the RF now .
If you set up quick battles you can adjust the 'fitness' and 'training' I think they're called, to reflect fanaticism and morale. There might be an adjustment for sighting too, its been awhile since i played.
IMHO, For most players, ARMA3 is just a fun multiplay game like SQUAD.
OK,it can simulate some military life.:)
But i am not interest in a military life, and i am only interest in a military mission.
CM can realise it.
1. Manual says that the HIDE order is unreliable if enemy is close, it takes a lot of willpower to keep hiding while the enemy approaches. Experience, morale and leadership affects this. Buildings do have windows, ventilation etc. to see through with thermal imaging, if you hide behind an actual tall wall tank commander cannot see you and you can ambush him a lot easier.
2. There is a simulation of morale, but it has been simulated more like battle morale. So if you have been shot at a lot (experienced), it gets harder to pin you down with fire. Also a presence of a leader (C2) makes it harder to pin you. Religious fanatics might have never seen a firefight with a tank and thus be highly susceptible to heavy enemy fire.
3. Very true, I think the scenarios are more like playing against the scenario designer, not real AI. So once you figure out what he intended, game gets really easy.
Lastly, this is a commercial version of the simulation. Professional simulation is different.
It is different in that there are additional features that allow for customization and playback the actual Tac AI that controls the pixel troops is the same.
so...
You all understand that if in this "military action simulator" it is impossible to simulate an elementary shot from a hand grenade launcher from the window of a high-rise building (without exchanging fire with a striker or raving at a distance convenient for an armored combat vehicle but not convenient for an infantryman with a grenade launcher, as happens in an asymmetric war ( in this simulator there is no elementary ambush) then this is not a simulator but garbage for mass consumption? Tanki sees an infantryman through the wall of a high-rise building (he should not see him even through a thermal imager). This is crazy! I do not have a professional version unfortunately. But what is stated by the developer - False.
turn based
Passage to Wilcox
Limit 2 lost AFVs and 15 KIA
Let me know how it goes
Try the missions, and there are many ambush scenarios :)
Good luck,comany commander.
