hard to play on steam deck

this game is hard to play on the steam deck with default controls. the mouse is difficult to maneuver.

Oh this is exactly my question too :) I wonder if touchscreen control works ? How about the trackpads ? maybe use back buttons for tile rotating ?

This must have been patched as I've played the first 30 levels on the Steam Deck with zero issues. Just toggle the trigger buttons to rotate and use the joysticks to move the cats. I find the controls to be very responsive using the default settings.

Forgive me for asking what might be a stupid question but I’m new to steam deck. How do I “right click” the mouse to enable me to rotate the cats please? Thanks

I reckon you've figured it out by now, but since you asked so pleasantly and politely, you use one of the trigger buttons, I believe.

Hi folks, I'm a little late to the thread here, but I just got this game, as well as Dogs & Birds. I play exclusively on my steam deck. The game seems intent on making me use a mouse, even when I try messing with the control layout. Does anyone have tips or suggestions? Touchscreen works, but that isn't quite the experience I hoped for.
