Thrown into squad Battle royale matches without teammates
As the title says, wtf... This is nonsense, how the heck is this game playable when you get thrust into a gamemode where everyone else is in teams of 3 and you have to solo and get destroyed 99/100 matches in which this occurs.
If its due to players dropping or quitting then the solo player that get the short straw need a power buff to compensate, seriously...

I'm gona answer your question.

It's because Squad games aren't full of actual people.
They wont throw you in to a squad of bots so you just had a bad luck of the draw.
Alot of people are premade in to either duos or full teams so if you que up solo, there is a rare chance to be solo in a squad match.

It's completely fair and can happen in any battleroyale.
It's happened in PUBG, apex, Warzone, Fortnite etc.

It's just a really rare chance usually.

And no, the solo player should not get any buffs.
Some people actually do solo que in to squads on purpose too.
I've done it a few times just to have fun and mess around.

That should not be the case.
1. Squad match is there to play with teammates, not solo. Go play solo matches otherwise.
2. Its not rare if it happens half a dozen times in a row in instances.
3. I dont care if there are bots, if you are pitted in unfair odds then they should change it to give players even grounds when playing.

You are the typical apologist for game industry fails, stop saying its ok to have a broken system that needs fixing to not be fixed. You help nobody...

man, believe me! most of the time you're better off alone! :) some rando teammates are awful!! Looting somewhere FAR FAR away from you, while you're being hit by 2 real squads...happens to everybody. try finding people who play the same time and have more or less your skill and play together..the only way
Liobuster Apr 20, 2021 @ 6:01am
Soloing squads makes it easier to find people and therefore kills unless you find an actual team that communicates and then you´ll just have to kite them into another

1. Sure but it's also an option to play it solo.
2. It is rare and so far you are one if not the only person this is happenign to apparently.
3. Nope. If there ain't enough people to team up with then that's that.
Find some friends and team up or else you will have to fight the system with it.

I find i get put in solo quite a lot in squads. Unfortunately sometimes i get taken out by a squad in no time at all, Most games i make it to final 3, But i just hate how I have to be a lone wolf all the time. I guess i need to find people to play this game with. I bought the battle pass so I am at least $15 invested for this season at least. I do like the game though and if they keep updating the game i could see myself playing it for a while.

i got thrown into squads queue solo and i ended up winning anyway lol

but i agree i wouldve liked to have teammates
Flying Fox Apr 22, 2021 @ 10:13am
you can leave in the lobby without punishment.. just quit in the last few seconds once it hits 100/100 and queue again..
it sucks, but the game population is diing already and of the 100 players its like 10-21 players and the rest are bots instead of actually filling the lobby with players.. they could double the countdown and the lobbies would be 50-80 players already but they dont do so

it isnt that rare actually.. happens quite frequently you miss either 1 or 2 people..
They could just stop the addition of bots at the last few players and still add in more players to fill that one squad.. but by 10seconds to start the lobby is usually at 100/100 already so even though you have 10 seconds to fill, there just wont join more people.. so you leave or take it
In squads you can obtain the dogtag to gain +10% dmgboosts.. as a solo you should have 2 of those in your inventory at start already - but you dont

then again you CAN join a party prior to the matching.. people do search for those.. its just a few more clicks

At least it's not as bad as picking solo BR and being put into squad. Nice bug. :seriousboss:

It's not rare to miss ONE squadmate.
But missing two and having to be solo is rarer.

Also from what I have seen, lobbies that I've been in at max cap (AKA bots and players) they slowly replace the bots during the countdown with people.
Why do I think it's like that?
Well I tend to stare at the newbie leaderboards (Fashion rankings basicly) and while the lobby was at 95-100 there was my char and two bots (edward356346734 and whatever)
The countdown was at about 30 seconds left and the bots got replaced by actual people on said board.

So I'm thinking the system ques for X time and places you in a arena if you have the MINIMUM amount of people for a match and then starts the ingame countdown during which people CAN still enter and replace bots up untill the end of the launch animation when you are in the air (Sometimes loaded in to a match when the flight had traveled half the distance).
This is also why when queing with your friends in two squads, one squad can instantly go to a match and the other squad can STILL end in the same match even if they find a match after 5-10 seconds+ their friends already ended in the pre arena.

because most people already have 3 man squads :( that's why you can;t get team...rarely people start with only 2 players and this allows you to que with them
Liobuster Apr 25, 2021 @ 1:59pm
yeah but if you soloqueue its kind of a special bummer
