Problem Checking new version

Tired of this need fix on dealing with being stuck at Checking New Version every Update. Always need to uninstall the game and then install again. Tiresome and annoying... UwU

first open steam with "open as Administrator" and do repair, i can play after that

Attempts so far,
1: tried uninstall and re-install - same issue
2: tried checking steam file integrity - same issue
3: run as admin and us the launcher Repair function - Ha ha it works now!!

Well. I guess that's a sign to quit this game. -2 days of event. And i doubt they will give us any compensation

i believe this is a connection issue with their servers, you just need to keep closing and restarting the game until it works.

For my solution,I used as ilhamcom54 and DarkAberle suggestion and it work,this is what I do,On steam menu I go to steam->settings->downloads->clear download cache then right-click on steam short-cut run as administrator and right-click on SMC shot-cut run as administrator as well,when the launcher pop-up hit the repair,hope that help,thank you for all
