Was I playing against bots or something?

Look, I've had experiences with battle royale games like Apex Legends, and I'd say I'm not really that great at them. But I got into my first solo match and proceeded to destroy people, ended up winning my first match.

But the chances are felt so impossible for me, versing against real people, because they were genuinely bad. So many times I missed and I was like "Oh damnit, he's gonna get me now", but they reacted to slow. Got into 8 fights, all those fights tickled my character a bit.

But yeah, I was so convinced I was playing against bots my first match. Please tell me I'm right.

no bot, just happen a lot of new player joined the match

Usually theres lots of bots ingame and in low ranks like first 10 games there barely any real players depending how fast you progress on later games, later on when you around silver gold and higher you can end up against alpha knights or higher ranks in general. so ranks really dont matter tho the higher they are the more points you gain for suriviving longer

Yep, the game have some bots, they're apparently used to reduce the time needed to start a match; as i understand they seems to be the majority of the "insert a name here"136753 type players. It changes in hight lvl battles, new players will found the a lot though...

UPDATE: Now it's my fourth win in a row. But I suspect that it's because most players are playing on mobile with a lack of precision and lack of good fps. There is a huge balancing issues between pc gamers and mobile gamers.

There is no crossplay, in bronze, pretty much all players are bots. Some bots use real names. In higher rankings, there are 7-20 real players, but you fight only 2-4 of them in a solo match. Because all others are allready out.

at most there will be like 10 humans if you are lucky and 90 bots on solo que, dont worry this wont change either on higher leagues, Im on diamond league and I found like 5 maybe 7 humans no solo que still lol.

I'm almost "Alpha Knight" and find real humans everywhere... You'll miss the bots when you get here... xD

don't get too relaxed...they just let you get hooked to the game on bronze and silver...closer to the end of silver league you'll have lots of more real players to play with. Bots usually named with either most generic names like JohnWick or something like that (some basic words), sometimes NAME875875 (basically Name, like John870340)...bots currently only mech up on Kumas (Caramels), Andromedas, Skylarks and Firefoxes...if you see Gabriel or Aurora or anything else - those are 100% real players :) but some new players still getting used to the game, so can act a bit scared when being attacked by mech or two :)
