Moving Thrillinator Mission Broken

I am at the part on Taken at the Flood where you need to move the Thrillinator from the dam area after purchasing the old theme park land. I did that, and moved the ride into a brand new area that I purchased. I have people riding it and everything. However, it is not giving me progress for the mission of moving the coaster or for the progress of visitors. Anyone else dealing with this?

I've got that - it registered as "standard coaster" when I clicked on it after it moved. I've tried renaming it to "Thrillinator" and it still doesn't show as completed :(

Yes mine showed Standard Coaster too and I did the same with no result for the mission.

Hm, that sounds like a bug indeed. Spoiler on what is supposed to happen: Once you buy the land extension of where the Thrillinator is located, the dam is flooded and you "lose" the mission (it still get's accomplished and you move onto the next mission).

Could this be the problem? In my game, I bought the plot with the dam in it - could that prevent that scenario from triggering?

and I saw you cant complete the 1000 ppl ride the coaster, every month it get's reset, like a infinite loop

Same thing is happening to me. Cannot complete the goal or continue the story. :(

Hello,

drsnuggles has already correctly mentioned what and when the outro video in this mission should trigger. Without spoiling, the Thrillinator should never be able to move, and after the outro video, Mission 7 should be selectable.

It would be very valuable information to understand exactly what is happening here.

Therefore, it would be great if as many people as possible which have the issue could answer these three questions:

- After purchasing the last land expansion, did the outro video trigger for you, and were you able to select Mission 7 afterward?
- After purchasing the last land expansion, did you still see a goal displayed in the lower right corner? If yes, which goal is displayed to you?
- How were you able to move the Thrillinator? The button to move the Thrillinator should be disabled in this mission. Was this button visible for you, as with all other rides?

Thank you so much for your information! If any of you have a save game of the described situation, it would be very helpful as well.

I have the exact same problem and cant progress through the story.

-No outro video triggered for me, and no I wasnt able to select mission 7 afterwards.

-The first goal (buying the land) got a check, the other 2 goals stayed (even after moving the thrillinator and having people ride it).

-Same as any other ride. But it name was just regular coaster, not the thrillinator. Also I noticed when moving the coaster the sign that said Thrillinator stayed on its place (floating mid air) instead of moving with the rest of the coaster. I was also able to delete the thrillinator.

there was the move button, so I just hit them and moved it but after that, the button was gone

I had purchased all possible land expansions before advancing the goals to avoid triggering any lame timed competition mechanics. At the end I was asked to buy another land expansion. New expansions became available... as soon as I bought one, the cutscene triggered and I won the mission.

Long story the mission seems glitched.

1) After purchasing the land where the Thrilinator was located, there was no cutscene for me.
I even tried purchasing every land before buying that land, still no cutscene
and Mission 7 is not select-able from the campaign menu

2) After purchasing the land with the Thrilinator on it, the goal on the bottom right checkmarks and disapears, only leaving the goals "Move the Thrilinator" and "Let 1000 people ride the Thrilinator"

3) I can move it just like any other ride I place down, there is the 4 way arrow symbol at the bottom of the coaster information button, after selecting the coasters station.

(I had, what I thought was a glitch where, I had placed the ride down, and was unable to move it again, but still unable to proceed with the completing the level) but other than that, I can move it every single time

1. I didn’t have to purchase all of the land expansions to progress to this part of the campaign. I moved through all the milestones and this one popped up. I purchased the land the Thrillinator was on and then the two missions popped up to move the Thrillinator to another location and have 1000 people ride it. Do you need to purchase all of the land expansions?

3. Yes the button to move it was available like any other ride.
