Development Questions
I just recently found out about this game being in development, and from what I understand, it’s intended to be a single-player version of Naval Action, something I’ve been dreaming about for nearly a decade.

As I’ve tried to look into it, I’ve come across a lot of conflicting or inaccurate information. Is the game still in active development? I’ve seen multiple posts and videos claiming it may have been dropped.

It also appears that a new studio has taken over development. If that’s the case, is the new team sticking with the original concept of a single-player Naval Action-style experience?

I’ve seen mentions of a 2025 release, but given the uncertainty surrounding the project, I was hoping someone could clarify whether there’s an official release date or perhaps a way to access early builds.

Apologies if these questions have already been answered. I’m just really excited about the potential of this game. The shift to multiplayer and the pay-to-win elements in Naval Action ultimately ruined the experience for me years ago. I’d gladly pay three times what I paid for Naval Action if this delivers a true single-player experience in the same style.

If anyone can point me to an official update or statement, I’d really appreciate it!

How can I answer you honestly? difficult !
Actually, apart from the developers themselves, if they still exist, they would be the only ones who could do it!
But they're very, very, silent! Rightly or wrongly, I don't know!
The information is very scant and, as you say, contradictory!
Also from my point of view... yes, the game seems to be still in development, but it's starting to get very, very, very long! Too long already, is that reassuring or worrying, I don't know?
On the other hand, yes, it should be single-player only and with the spirit of naval action... same engine in any case and same world?
I too am patiently waiting for this release..... which never ends, never ends... always going back, delaying.... I believe in it less and less.
Sorry if I don't help you in any way.... but so yes, let's keep hope!

It does help basically don't get my hopes up lol. I stumbled over this in a conversation about the "good old days" of naval action. I forget what year I stopped playing 2017 or 18. It has been one of the best games I have ever played but devs just murdered the game at every turn. The community quickly became toxic as well which was sad to see.

I would love for this to be a single player version where I could shape the world in my own way without influence of other players.

Abandonware - devs are only doing mobile games now I hear. This game will never come out and if it does it will be an EA release then abandoned once they have got some quick money just like their previous game.
